How We Work

At NSW Certified Cleaning Service, we believe professionalism means more than a good clean. It means working safely, clearly, and with respect for everyone involved — our clients, our staff, and the people who live or work in the spaces we clean.

This section explains how we operate, what you can expect, and the boundaries that protect quality, safety, and compliance.

Our Approach

We operate as a system-led, safety-first cleaning provider.

Every service is delivered using:

  • Documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Approved products and equipment

  • Clear scopes of work

  • Trained, insured, and supervised cleaners

This approach ensures consistency, accountability, and low risk — especially in homes and NDIS-supported environments.

Safety Comes First (Always)

Safety is non-negotiable.

For this reason:

  • We use our own approved products, or

  • Client-supplied products must have a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) provided in advance

If a product cannot be verified as safe, it will not be used — regardless of preference. This protects clients, occupants, cleaners, and insurance compliance.

Clear Scope = Quality Results

Each service is provided according to an agreed scope of work.

This means:

  • Tasks are clearly defined before the service

  • Time is allocated appropriately

  • Cleaners follow structured checklists

Requests outside the agreed scope (for example, additional rooms, tasks, or deep-clean items) require approval and re-quoting prior to being completed.

This prevents rushed work, missed details, and misunderstandings.

Respectful Professional Boundaries

We are proud to be a service provider — not an informal arrangement.

To maintain quality and fairness:

  • Weekly or ongoing task lists must be agreed in writing

  • Instructions are provided through management, not altered on-site

  • Cleaners are not required to accept unsafe, unreasonable, or last-minute changes

Boundaries allow us to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.

Communication & Changes

We welcome clear communication.

If you need:

  • A change to your service

  • An additional task

  • A different schedule

Please contact us in advance so we can assess, quote, and schedule appropriately.

Our Commitment

We commit to:

  • Acting professionally and respectfully

  • Protecting privacy and confidentiality

  • Delivering services competently and safely

  • Upholding NDIS-aligned values where applicable

In return, we ask clients to respect the systems that make this possible.

Service Limitations & Safety Guidelines

To keep everyone safe and ensure the best possible cleaning experience, please note the following:

 Bodily Waste
We do not handle bodily waste, blood, or feces (human or animal). These require specialised biohazard services.

 Working at Heights
For insurance and safety reasons, our cleaners do not climb ladders or steps higher than two rungs.

 Heavy Furniture
Heavy items such as hutches, bookcases, buffets, or large cabinets will not be moved.

 Televisions & Electronics
We do not move or clean televisions or fixed electronic equipment.

 Glass & Display Cabinets
We do not open, move, or clean inside glass display cabinets or china cabinets.

 Pet Safety
For the safety of your pets, please secure them during the cleaning. Even calm pets may become frightened by vacuums or equipment.

 Child Safety
Children should not touch cleaning equipment or walk on wet floors to prevent accidents.

Thank you for helping us provide a safe, professional, and respectful service.
